Concept Auntie Karen Inc. is an educational entertainment firm that creates, markets and distributes products and programs, with a special emphasis on the Education Market. The mission of our business is to empower, enlighten and educate through the arts.
Our goal is to become one of the leading educational entertainment firms in the United States. We intend to accomplish this goal by offering a set of educational materials and services that meet client needs better than any competitor, by basing them on core curriculum standards and incorporating the arts. We will also create a high level of visibility and awareness for our material by a consistent and carefully targeted marketing strategy partnering with local, state government and private industries.
Current Situation We are a start-up, incorporated in September 2001 in the State of SC. The principal owners are Karen Alexander, whose title is President/CEO; and Byron Counts, whose title is Vice-President/Musical Director.
Dr. Norma Jackson, Director of International Studies, Benedict College, joined the team in 2002. Norma brings over a decade of business experience, bilingual talent and a wealth of International contacts. With this team of experienced and talented individuals, the company will be positioned to meet an emerging, underserved need for fun, educational material .
Other key personnel include experts in graphic design, videography and event planning.
